More About the Producer

Grown by a community of smallholder farmers in San Pedro Yosotatu, Oaxaca, this high-altitude coffee is the result of generations of collaboration and care. After years of selling to the coyotes—roaming coffee buyers in Mexico who offer farmers very low prices—the community found Red Fox Coffee Merchants: a more sustainable buyer. After harvest, the coffee is washed, fermented for 24 hours, and slowly dried to highlight its naturally sweet and vibrant character. Expect a light, crisp cup with notes of caramel, lime, dried mango, honey, and mild spice.
