From the misty peaks of Northern Cajamarca comes a remarkable expression of one of coffee’s most celebrated varieties. Cultivated at soaring altitudes—up to 2400 MASL—by the dedicated members of Cooperativa Agraria Rutas del Inca, this washed Geisha is a true rarity in Peruvian coffee.
Founded in 2013 with just over thirty farmers, Rutas del Inca now boasts over 300 members across three rugged districts. Among their highland plots, a select few cultivate Geisha trees that flourish in the extreme climate, producing cherries of stunning complexity and clarity.
Hand-harvested at peak ripeness, then washed and dried with care, only the best of these small-lot Geishas are selected by the cooperative’s quality team in Querocoto. This is Sisters Coffee’s first-ever Geisha offering from Rutas—an exciting new chapter in our 7-year relationship with this inspiring community.
In the cup, expect vibrant citrus notes—grapefruit, lime, and orange—balanced by a soft body and delicate layers of vanilla and caramel. It's a refined, elegant coffee that showcases the beauty of both variety and place.
