Grown by smallholder farmers in the cloud forests surrounding San Juan Coatzospam, Mexico, this coffee is cultivated under the shade of native trees using traditional farming methods. Coffee has been a vital source of income for this remote community for generations. After harvest, the coffee is carefully fermented and dried on raised beds, resulting in a juicy, slightly fuller-bodied cup with notes of molasses, blackberry, graham cracker, fudge, and orange.
