Paric is a community of coffee producers organized by the Rutas del Inca cooperative. The cooperative, founded in 2013 with 35 member producers, has grown steadily and now boasts over 300 member coffee farmers. In 2022 after steady growth and a reorganization of the cooperative's leadership structure, they organized their producers into 14 community groups. Built around the strong communal bounds of the rural communities where the members of the cooperative live, organizing the producers in this way allowed Rutas del Inca to concentrate their resources into these community centers. The coop now uses these community centers to host community trainings, meetings, and also to build coffee lots around specific communities whose producers share microclimatic conditions.
