Sítio Baixadão is owned and operated by Helisson Afonso Da Silva and his family. Located in Cristina, Brazil, Baixadão comprises multiple plots of land around the city. Initially, the farm focused exclusively on rice production, but in 1995, Helisson's family diversified by adding coffee cultivation. The coffee thrived, and they quickly shifted the farm's focus from rice to coffee. After twenty years of cultivating coffee at Baixadão, Helisson's father, Sebastião Afonso da Silva, won the 2015 Brazilian Cup of Excellence competition, a crowning achievement for the farm. The tradition of excellence continues with Helisson, and this coffee reflects the family's meticulous standards. Our offering from Baixadão is a strikingly beautiful cup of Brazilian coffee with notes of caramel, hazelnut, nectarine, apricot, and nougat.
